Arena Set-Up

Let's Learn the basics by setting up the Arena.
You'll need a champion.
Champions can be identified by the term "Hero Champion Card" or "Villain Champion Card" on the top of the card.
The number of champions you'll need depends on the gametype:
1v1 = 1 Champion
2v2 = 2 Champions
3v3 = 3 Champions
To learn the basics, follow the all of the 1v1 requirements.
Place the champion face-up in the Champion Zone.

Select 3 'Will of the Universe' cards for each champion in the champion zone and place them face-up in the Will Zone (WZ).
1 champion = 3 Starting Will
2 champions = 6 Starting Will
3 Champions = 9 Starting Will

Will is your resource card. You'll pay for your skills and spells by spending (consuming) Will equal to the skill or spell's WC.



Next, take your actionable cards and place them face-down in the Main Deck Zone.
These allow you to take action during your turn.
There are 5 types of actionable cards that go in your Main Deck:

Skill

Spell
-
Strategy
-
Ally

Depending on the gametype, the amount of cards you can have in your Main Deck may vary.
1v1 = 20-30 Cards
2v2 = 30-40 Cards
3v3 = 40-60 Cards
To learn the basics make a Main Deck of only Will, Skills, and Spells.







Finally, S3CCG uses an inventory deck.
An inventory deck isn't required to play so you'll learn more about this in the Advanced Tactics section.
The Inventory Deck is made up of 4 card types:

Depending on the gametype, the amount of cards you can have in your Inventory Deck may vary.
1v1 = 0- 5 Cards
2v2 = 0-10 Cards
3v3 = 0-15 Cards
The Inventory deck is placed face-down.
