Setting the stage
After the fall of the crazed Titans, the realm of Limsia ushered in its 'Golden Age', but after a century of bliss the Guardians of Dark Stones, G.o.D.S., vanished, leaving the inhabitants to forge their own destinies. In their absence, many warriors aligned with elite mercenary groups or pledged their lives as knights to protect the realm from Hellions, monsters that seep from the cracks of the Quest Gates, as well as from each other. However, not everyone found noble paths. Scavengers, ravagers, bandits, and those in between also call Limsia home. As dark cults plot to plunge the realm back into darkness, secret sects yearn for a world that no longer exists.

When the lives of nine warriors intersect to create the most pivotal moment in Limsia's history, the the realm is inadvertently changed forever. Follow along as their worlds collide and their date with destiny interlocks. When forced to confront their internal and external demons the fate of the realm falls to them.

Meet the cast of vol. 1
Avigail
Avigail is the 8th leader of the Vin su Don and a renowned swordmaster feared for her impeccable combat prowess and fiery temper. After hunting down clues regarding her adoptive father's disappearance, Avigail finally gets a lead on the one person who may have met with Brytto before he vanished, the elusive reclusive leader of the 'Lilac Flame' cult, Madoc. Convinced this is finally her chance to get the answers she's longed for, Avigail gives the order to pursue.
Erwyn
Right hand to Avigail and longtime friend Erywn has always attempted to keep Avigail out of trouble. Since childhood, he's always sought to keep her from acting on her rash decisions, though, since she became the 8th leader, his mission has become ten times more difficult. Though is love for Avigail keeps him at her side, the two frequently butt heads.
Valka
If Erwyn is Avigail's right hand, Valka is Avigail's left. While Erywn sees it as his duty to ensure Avigail is approaching situations from a sense of level-headedness, Valka recognizes no amount of talk can sway Avigail once the fire inside her is lit. Instead, her duty is to protect Avigail at all costs, even though she may struggle to keep up.
Silas
Best friend of the 7th leader, Brytto, Silas acted as his confidant and advisor while serving as the most senior member on the Vin su Don high council. Though disappointed his gifted son, Iru, did not enter the 'Lord of Steel' tournament, he reluctantly remained at Avigail's side after her victory. Though the two frequently and publicly butt heads, their alliance has proven productive as the Vin su Don has remained the strongest of the mercenary guilds.

We are expanding into the literary world! This campaign is to fund the the companion graphic novel that is based on the written novel that is currently in production. We're seeking funding to complete the line art, coloring, and release of the first in our graphic novel series, Shining Shadows Saga: A Conspiracy of Fate - Volume One: Avigail.
