The Asurians were the first species to ‘Awaken’ and begin exploring the realm of Limsia. Their insatiable thirst for knowledge led them from their origins in the north-eastern regions of Elysia to cover every inch of the visible realm. They examined, cataloged, and documented all they discovered as they unlocked many of the world's secrets. Hailed amongst many as the first species to comprehend the might of the elements as spells, they traded their knowledge with the unique species’ they encountered as they grew their Empire. While their curiosity contributed to many of the realm's inventions and revelations, their narrative of wanderlust conceals their history of extermination, experimentation, and corruption which often was the catalyst for many of Limsia's grandest of wars.
