Who are the Hurclians?
The oblivious Hurclians were discovered by Algoon survivors following the first Algoon and Asurian War. Hordes of starving and wounded Algoons, uprooted and displaced by the Asurians, found themselves as immigrants on the Hurclian domain. The Hurclian people extended their massive arms to welcome their newly discovered brethren and nurtured them back to thriving numbers. They assumed the role of protectors to the Algoons as they assimilated them into their culture. The Hurclians taught them combat and crafting and, in return, learned to harness the magic of the elements. As time passed, they learned of the monsters that haunted the Algoons, the mischievous creatures whose only concern was for themselves and their own power. Heeding the Algoons’ warning, they prepared for the moment these monsters would too come for them. The moment finally arrived as the Asurians trespassed upon Hurclian lands with their shrouded intentions. However, the Hurclians were ready. Without question or provocation they bathed in Asurian blood, for the enemy of the Algoons was now officially their enemies.
