A protector of the great Sequoan, Campanulaceae, Paden is one of the youngest knights on duty though she has lived for almost a century. She was drafted into service before reaching full bloom after showing great promise defending her Spry village of Lobelia against a rumba of savage Ahnak bandits. Although loyal to her role, she often finds herself being reprimanded by her superiors for leaving Lobelia on her 'hunts' to squash any Ahnak dens forming close to Spry villages. She's a firm believer in taking action before problems can arise, which puts her at odds with her more passive peers.



Upon learning of a massive build-up of Ahnak fighters east of Lobelia, Paden pleaded with the elder Spry council to form a battalion of fighters to investigate, even raising her concerns all the way up to Campanulaceae. However, neither the council nor the great Sequoan agreed with her approach, believing that if the Ahnak had not shown any aggression, then no action would be needed. Paden, after having her concerns dismissed abandoned her post once more to 'hunt'.
